THE GLIMPS OF RAMLEELA
Navratri is a nine-day Hindu festival celebrated with joy and devotion across the world.Twinkling Star pre-primary school @Gayanagar celebrated Navratri festival with its esteemed glory.
The Traditional performance of Ramlila was enacted by the
Pre-primary children . Values are nurtured at an early age and TSS , with its proclaimed vision of value based education, firmly believe that enactment of the Hindu epic ‘Ramleela’ is a baby step to achieve this .
PATRIOTISM THEME
The students of TSS Uttam Nagar, grade 5(A) , conducted the morning assembly, with a skit and dance , based on the theme ‘Patriotism’, to part with the importance of Indian soldiers. Soldiers serve and protect our country. We are obliged to treat them with honour and dignity.
RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION
Raksha Bandhan, fondly called as Rakhi festival, is an important Hindu festival. It is celebrated
in various ways in different parts of the country. It is a festival that celebrates the bond between a brother and a sister. The festival of Raksha Bandhan is observed on the full moon day of Shravana.The word “Raksha” means protection.
During this festival, a sister ties a rakhi for her brother on his wrist, which is said to protect him from all the evil forces and pray for his long and prosperous life. In return, the brother gives a token of love to his loving sister, offer sweets and gifts to his sister while making a promise to protect her for the rest of his life.
BLUE DAY CELEBRATION
Blue is the colour of the sky and sea
. Blue symbolises trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, and truth.
The students of Preprimary celebrated Blue Day on 06 August 2024.
Early identification of colourS help to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of a child’s development.
