Republic Day Celebrated with Great Patriotism at Twinkling Star School
Twinkling Star School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm, pride, and patriotic spirit on the school campus. The celebration witnessed active participation from students, parents, and teachers, making the event vibrant and memorable.
The program began with the ceremonial flag hoisting by the Chief Guest, Naib Subedar Bhima Abhuj, who has proudly served in the Indian Army for 17 years. The national anthem echoed across the campus, filling the atmosphere with patriotism as everyone stood in respect and saluted the tricolour.
Students beautifully showcased India’s rich cultural and social heritage through various performances. Many students came dressed as great social reformers like Savitribai Phule and Jyotiba Phule, spreading the message of education, equality, and social reform. Their confident portrayals were widely appreciated by the audience.
The cultural segment featured energetic and graceful dance performances by the girls, which added color and excitement to the celebration. A melodious group patriotic song by the school music team further uplifted the spirit of the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Naib Subedar Bhima Abhuj said, “Discipline, dedication, and love for the nation are the true qualities of a responsible citizen. Students are the future of our country, and they must always be ready to serve the nation with pride.”
The program was a grand success under the able guidance of Chairman Shri Ganesh Maid Sir and Principal Harjot Kaur. Chairman Sir shared his thoughts, saying, “Our students’ enthusiasm and confidence reflect the strong foundation of values and culture we are building at our school.”
The school management expressed heartfelt gratitude to all parents, teachers, and staff members for their support and cooperation in making the celebration successful. The event concluded on a high note, leaving everyone inspired and filled with national pride.

Savitribai Phule Jayanti Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at Twinkling Star School

Savitribai Phule Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm and an inspiring atmosphere at Twinkling Star School today. The programme conveyed a powerful message of women’s education, equality, and social reform, proving to be highly motivating for the students.
The event was graced by the presence of the chief guests, Dr. Purnima Yande (Director, Kripalu Hospital, Beed) and Dr. Urmila Shinde (MBBS, DGO). Their esteemed presence added grace and significance to the occasion.
The programme began with a beautifully presented cultural fusion dance performed by the students. This was followed by an impactful drama depicting the life of women and the remarkable contributions of Savitribai Phule. A skit performed by the girls, dressed in various professional costumes, effectively conveyed the message of women empowerment.
The thought-provoking message, “If a girl is educated, an entire generation becomes educated,” was strongly highlighted through these performances.
Students and teachers delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the noble work and legacy of Savitribai Phule. The chief guests, in their addresses, emphasized that education is the most powerful tool for social transformation and encouraged students to move forward with confidence and determination.
Under the guidance of Principal Ms. Harjot Kaur, and with the constant support of Director and Chairman Mr. Ganesh Maid Sir, the programme was conducted successfully.
The essence of the event was beautifully summarized in the thought:
“Awake, arise, and educate — this is the true path to empowerment.”
The programme proved to be truly inspirational and left a lasting impression on the minds of all those present.

In a heartwarming initiative, the students of Twinkling Star School visited the Old Age Ashram to celebrate Diwali with its residents. The visit aimed to promote compassion, social responsibility, and cultural values among young learners.
The Ashram residents expressed their joy and appreciation, praising the children for their warmth and enthusiasm.
School representatives said that such activities help students understand the importance of kindness and community service, especially during festivals that symbolize light, hope, and togetherness.

Teachers' Day Celebrations
Teacher’s Day is celebrated on September 5th every year, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a distinguished teacher, philosopher, and the second president of India.
Today, 5th September 2025, TSS Uttamnagar celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm and gratitude.
The day began with a special assembly, where students expressed appreciation for their teachers through heartfelt speeches and a Skit.
The teachers were felicitated with flowers, cards, and gifts, symbolising the students’ love and respect.
The celebration was a testament to the selfless devotion of teachers, who play a vital role in nurturing and guiding future generations. We salute our teachers, who are the true architects of society.

VARDHAPAN DIN OF GANPATI BAPPA @ TSS UTTAM NAGAR
On August 18, 2025, Vardhapan Din was celebrated at TSS. Vardhapan Vidhi is also known as “Vardhapan Aacharan” which means birthday celebration. On this day a goal for future life is decided.
At the TSS Uttamnagar branch, Vardhana Puja & Yagnya were performed to maintain and improve health and gain strength for the growth of the Institution.

Inter-Class Dance Competition🕺💃🕺
Today, 13th September 2024, at TSS Uttamnagar, an Inter-Class Dance Competition was organised as a part of Ganesh Utsav 2024-25. The theme was Ganesha and our Primary students participated with immense enthusiasm and energy.
The competition was a vibrant showcase of talent, creativity and devotion to Lord Ganesha. We were thrilled to see our young students come together and perform with such passion and joy.

THE QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT
The Quit India Movement was a movement started by Mahatma Gandhi on 9 August 1942. The movement wanted to end British rule in India. The movement was started in a speech in Bombay, where Mahatma Gandhi asked Indians to Do or Die.
At TSS, the selected students under the guidance of the SST department performed a skit for the students to know the importance of the day.
A Step Towards Green Nature.
TSS always tries to imbibe the moral values in it’s students through different programs.
Today (12 August 2024) TSS organized “Green Day”for the students of Preprimary Section.
The little ones participated in Fancy Dress Competition with great enthusiasm showing the beauty of nature and it’s importance.
Dr. Snehal Mengade was the chief guest of the day. She motivated and appreciated the students and the parents for their efforts.
TSS SCHOOL PARLIAMENT ELECTIONS
The steps to ignite the importance of democracy in young minds are not a new thing in TSS.
For the last 16 years, TSS has always been promoting the nobility of democracy among the children through the school parliament election.
The process of election started with the submission of nominations for the election of School Head Boy and Head Girl. The students of grade 10 submitted their nominations to Mr. Krishna Kumar, the Returning Officer for TSS School Parliament Election
EMPOWERING THE TEACHERS
TSS always takes the initiative to empower its faculties to cope up and compete with the new education system.
At TSS Mr. Dheeraj Gadiya, Lead Academic Advisor conducted training sessions for the teachers of Preprimary and Primary Wing. Teachers of Uttamnagar and Gayanagar branches attended the training.
The session was fruitful and informative for all the educators.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Today at TSS the 78th Independence Day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm.
As a part of Har Ghar Tiranga initiative various competitions were held based on the theme ‘Patriotism’ at all the four branches of TSS which lasted for a week.
Flag hoisting ceremony was conducted at all the branches of TSS and the winners of the week long competitions were awarded with certificates and trophies followed by distribution of sweets.
Dr. Subhash Joshi hoisted the flag at Uttamnagar Branch, Dr. Sanjay Janvale hoisted the flag at Shahunagar Branch, Mr. Vinod R. Muluk & Mr. Rahul Madhukar Shingare hoisted the flag at Shivajinagar Branch.
Members of TSS Alumni group and the parents also attended the program.
